Dina Nelson, Modern Dance and Dance Team

Dina Nelson began her dance training at the age of four and choreographed her first piece at the age of fifteen.  She trained and competed throughout her childhood and teenage years in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, and pointe.  As a sophomore in college, she was one of the youngest members ever to be chosen for the Dance Company at California State University, Northridge.  Dina is currently a member of the Los Angeles based dance company, Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble and has danced on stage with performers such as Macy Gray, and Israeli Pop artists Rami Kleinstein and Miri Mesika.  Some of the various venues she has danced at include the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Paramount Studios, The Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, and the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Studios. 

Dina has her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from California State University, Northridge and has been teaching dance at The New Community Jewish High School for the past ten years.
